About Cal Tire & Auto Repair
Newbury Park’s tire shop since 1989 — now with a new name, the same shop on Newbury Rd, and full-service auto repair under one roof.
New Name. Same Trusted Shop.
California Tire Co opened at 1180 Newbury Rd in 1989 and spent more than three decades earning five-star loyalty from Conejo Valley drivers — competing with the big tire chains on price, and beating them on service.
Today the shop is under new ownership as Cal Tire & Auto Repair. The name on the sign has changed; the approach hasn’t. Customers who have been coming here for twenty and thirty years tell us the same thing: good service has not changed.
We’re a locally owned and operated shop serving Newbury Park and all of Ventura County. When most people think of Cal Tire, they think of tires — and we do that exceptionally well. But we’re also a full-service auto repair and maintenance center for cars, trucks, SUVs and fleet vehicles.

What Longtime Customers Say
I have been going to Cal Tire for 30 plus years. Now they are under new management — I am pleased to say they do a great job, as they always have. I don’t go anywhere else, because service matters.
Been using this shop for twenty years. Ownership has changed. Good service has not. Daughter feels comfortable going in by herself to talk with them.
Nicest guys, exceptional service, and they work at getting you the best prices.
