Flat Tire Repair, Mounting & Balancing in Newbury Park, CA

Picked up a nail on the 101? We patch flats that can be safely repaired, mount and balance new or carried-in tires, rotate on schedule and service TPMS sensors — most of it the same day.

Flat Tire Repair

Not every flat means a new tire. A puncture in the tread area can usually be repaired properly — we dismount the tire, inspect the inside for damage and install a plug-and-patch from the inside, the way the tire manufacturers recommend. If the damage is in the sidewall or shoulder, or the tire was driven on flat, we’ll tell you honestly that it needs replacing.

Mounting & Balancing

Professional mounting and balancing ensures a smooth ride, even wear and a longer tire life. We mount new or carried-in tires, balance every wheel and torque the lugs to spec. If you feel a vibration at highway speed, a rebalance is usually the first fix.

Tire Rotations

Front and rear tires wear differently. Rotating them every 5,000 to 7,500 miles — about every other oil change — keeps the set wearing evenly so you replace all four at once, later. We check tread depth and tire pressure while the wheels are off.

TPMS Service

If your tire-pressure warning light is on and the tires are fine, a sensor may have failed or needs to be reset. We service, replace and reprogram TPMS sensors so the light goes off and stays off.

FAQ

Tire Repair Questions

Can my flat tire be repaired, or does it need to be replaced?

A puncture in the tread area that’s smaller than a quarter inch can usually be repaired with a proper plug-and-patch from the inside. Damage in the sidewall or shoulder, a large hole, or a tire that was driven on while flat generally means replacement. We’ll inspect it and tell you honestly.

How often should I rotate my tires?

Every 5,000 to 7,500 miles for most vehicles — a good rule is every other oil change. Regular rotations keep wear even so the set lasts longer.

Why does my steering wheel shake at highway speed?

A vibration that shows up around 55–70 mph is often a tire that’s out of balance. It can also be a bent wheel, a separated tire or worn suspension parts. We balance the wheels first and check the rest if the shake doesn’t go away.

Do you service tire pressure sensors (TPMS)?

Yes. We replace and reset TPMS sensors and service the sensor kits when tires are changed, so the warning light goes off and stays off.
